Debris or malfunction in the factory bypass valve can cause the transmission to recirculate fluid instead of routing it through the cooler, leading to elevated fluid temperatures and potential premature failure. The BD Diesel bypass delete eliminates the bypass valve to ensure consistent 100% flow through the cooler.
