The BD DIESEL 1061525 Dodge Deep Sump Transmission Pan is one of the best reliability upgrades you can install on Dodge trucks equipped with the 68RFE transmission. By increasing fluid capacity and improving heat dissipation, this deep sump cast aluminum pan helps maintain stable transmission temperatures under towing, heavy loads, high-idle use, and daily driving—extending transmission life and improving overall performance.
This deep sump pan adds 4.5 quarts of additional fluid capacity over the factory pan while the cast aluminum construction with external cooling fins pulls heat away from the fluid for improved cooling performance. The added rigidity also helps reduce case twisting under load. The kit includes an OEM-style replacement gasket, a magnetic drain plug, and a temperature sending unit port—making servicing and monitoring easier.
