The BD DIESEL 1041555 X-Flow Power Intake Elbow in black powder-coated finish is engineered to improve airflow efficiency on Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L Cummins diesel engine from 2003–2007. The factory intake elbow creates airflow restriction and turbulence, which can limit turbocharger efficiency. BD Diesel’s X-Flow design features a larger internal plenum and smooth-radius geometry to reduce pressure loss and improve air delivery to the engine.
By smoothing airflow before it enters the intake manifold, the X-Flow Power Intake Elbow supports quicker turbo response, more consistent boost delivery, and improved throttle feel.
