The BD DIESEL 1032130 Dodge Traction Bars Kit is built to put your truck’s power to the ground by controlling rear axle wrap and eliminating wheel hop. Designed for 2003–2018 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks (excluding OEM rear airbags), this heavy-duty traction bar system improves traction, protects driveline components, and keeps your suspension movement smooth and predictable—especially under towing, hauling, and high-torque launches.

Unlike universal traction bars that bind or create harsh ride characteristics, BD traction bars are engineered to follow the OEM spring travel sweep and axle rotation. Do these traction bars require welding?

No. This is a bolt-on traction bar kit. For heavy-duty applications, welding the front mounts to the frame is recommended for maximum strength.

Will these work with airbags?

This kit is designed for trucks without OEM rear airbags/air suspension. If you plan to run aftermarket airbags, verify clearance before purchase.
