The BD DIESEL 1030418E B47RE Exchange Valve Body is a heavy-duty, BD-engineered replacement designed to correct common shift issues and hydraulic control problems in 1998.5–2002 Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L Cummins and 47RE automatic transmission. This valve body is built to improve shift firmness, consistency, and overall transmission durability in both stock and moderately upgraded trucks.
Each valve body is fully inspected, recalibrated, and upgraded by BD Diesel to address wear-related pressure loss and erratic shifting. This exchange unit comes complete with a new governor pressure solenoid and transducer, two critical components known to cause shifting issues when worn or failing. The result is improved throttle-responsive shifts, better line pressure control, and increased transmission life. A refundable core is required.
