The BD DIESEL 1030416E Valve Body Exchange is a precision-calibrated upgrade for 1996–1998 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the 5.9L 12-valve Cummins and 47RE automatic transmission. This BD-built valve body is engineered to correct factory hydraulic shortcomings, delivering firmer shifts, improved clutch holding capacity, and reduced heat for increased transmission life.
Each valve body is fully disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and recalibrated to BD Diesel specifications. Hydraulic circuits are modified to improve line pressure control and shift timing while maintaining daily drivability.
