The BD DIESEL 1028040 Universal 4.0-inch Remote Mount Air Actuated Exhaust Brake delivers enhanced vehicle control, safety, and performance for diesel trucks and heavy-duty applications. Designed to mount in-line with 4.0-inch exhaust systems, this exhaust brake uses BD’s variable orifice technology and rugged cast-iron construction to provide up to 150 retarding horsepower throughout the engine’s RPM range, unlike designs that only create back-pressure at high RPM.
