Designed specifically for factory Duramax rods, these 12-point cap screws deliver the strength and stability needed to keep your rotating assembly secure at elevated RPM and cylinder pressures. For best results, use with ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly Lubricant (100-9909) (also available in 10 oz (100-9910) ).

WHAT LUBE / TIGHTENING METHOD SHOULD I USE?
Use ARP Ultra-Torque and follow ARP’s instructions. Preferred method is bolt stretch; if stretch gauge isn’t available, torque per ARP’s sheet for this kit.
DO I NEED MACHINE WORK?
Yes—after installing new rod bolts, connecting rods should be re-sized (checked/honed) by a competent machine shop.
ARE THESE BOLTS STRONGER THAN STOCK?
Yes. ARP2000 material provides ~200,000+ psi tensile strength and far greater fatigue life than OEM hardware.
