AirDog II-5G DF-100 (A7SPBD252) is a 100 GPH air/fuel separation and lift pump system engineered for the 1994–1998 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with the 5.9L 12-valve P-pump Cummins. It reduces aeration and water, stabilizes fuel pressure, and improves throttle response and injector life. Will this work with the factory P-pump fuel filter head?
No. On the 12-valve application the II-5G routes pressure directly to the P-pump and ties the injector return into the engine return, eliminating the need for the factory filter head.
How much flow does the A7SPBD252 provide?
It is a DF-100-5G system rated at 100 GPH, ideal for stock to mildly upgraded 12-valve builds.
Is any tank drilling required?
For DF-100-5G on 1994–1998 trucks the suction connects to the factory module; a filler-neck tee is used for air/vapor return. (High-flow DF-165/220 may use a larger suction tube.)
What filters does it use and when should I change them?
One water separator and one 2-micron fuel filter. Inspect at each service interval; change based on fuel quality and restriction. Follow the AirDog maintenance guidance in the install manual.
