AIRDOG A7SABD525 II-5G DF-165-5G AIR/FUEL SEPARATION SYSTEM FOR 1998.5–2004 CUMMINS 5.9L 24V
Unlock reliable fuel pressure and cleaner fuel delivery on your 2nd-Gen/early 3rd-Gen Cummins. The AirDog® II-5G DF-165-5G system delivers 165 GPH with on-board pressure regulation (preset ~15–17 PSI) and advanced Fuel Preporator® air/vapor separation for consistent performance under load. Includes the frame-rail sandwich-plate mount and a Fuel Module Upgrade Kit to pull fuel through a 1/2" bulkhead fitting and bypass the factory in-tank pump.

Will this work with both VP44 (’98.5–’02) and early CP3 (’03–’04) trucks? Yes. This DF-165-5G system is built for 1998.5–2004 5.9L 24-Valve Cummins: VP44 (’98.5–’02) and early CP3 (’03–’04).Do I have to drop the tank or use a sump? The kit includes a Fuel Module Upgrade that pulls through a 1/2" bulkhead fitting in the factory basket. Many installs do not require a sump, but you can add one if your build demands it.
What pressure is it set to and can I adjust it? The II-5G is typically preset around 15–17 PSI for stock to moderately modified trucks and includes an adjustable regulator for fine-tuning.
Which filter part numbers do I need later? Pair with the standard AirDog water separator and fuel filter service parts for II/II-5G systems (sold separately on CPP Diesel).
