Description
- The ATS turbine heat shield is constructed from high tech, heat resistant materials.
- Able to withstand 2500 degrees of peak heat and 1800 degrees of sustained temperatures.
- Decreasing under-hood temperatures while increasing horsepower and torque.
- Also provides quicker spool times when compared to running your turbo with no shielding.
- Recorded temperatures at the turbo compressor inlet showed lower surface temperatures, with horse power and torque increases.
- There was also a decrease in turbocharger spool times. Along with increased performance,
- you also have the added benefits of lower under hood temperatures which correlates to increased radiator performance, cooler intake temperatures, longer life for vacuum lines, wiring harnesses and under-hood electronic components.
