The Cummins 3408345 Genuine Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor is an OE replacement for the 1998.5-2002 Dodge Cummins engine. The IAT sensor measures the ambient air temperature in the intake. This information is relayed to the ECM (Engine Control Module) and used to calculate the ignition timing, fuel delivery etc. This temperature sensor, which replaces the Mopar 5014197AA and Cummins 3865366, 3865345.
