The Carrillo 6.4L Cummins Pro-H Connecting Rod Set With CARR Bolts are specially engineered for the engine builder who wants to install a 5.9L crankshaft into 6.7L block. Carrillo has offered prototype and custom connecting rods to virtually all aspects of the automotive aftermarket, especially to the high-performance gas and diesel manufacturing. Carrillo uses a proprietary combination of chrome, vanadium, nickel, and moly alloy that meets all VAR (vacuum arc re-melt) ASTM manufacturing standards.

This Carrillo 6.4L Cummins Pro-H Connecting Rod Set With CARR Bolts are manufactured from an oversized forging process that results in the proper grain flow as well as the elimination of any potential surface inclusions or surface risers made during the forging process. Each connecting rod is magnafluxed twice and Rockwell verified to validate the heat treat procedure. These rods are then sent through an extensive probing procedure with CNC machines to authenticate their dimensional integrity and are finalized with a shot peen finish. Also included with this set of rods are CARR Multiphase Bolts as this rod set is meant for high horsepower or extreme race applications.
