He goes to CPP and places an order for 3.5" boost tubes and the biggest intake manifold he can find. He bolts it all on and he is very disappointed in the performance, because now his truck takes longer to spool up and seems egts are hotter. Well, that is because he still has the stock he351vgt turbo charger on his truck and that lil turbo is trying to keep more intake volume up to full boost pressure. If the intake system is bigger, well it will take longer for his turbo to pump that much more volume out and hit full boost pressure.
